Japan Golden Week

Today is the 2nd last day of Japan Golden week.

Golden week is known as a string of public holidays in a week starting with Showa Day (昭和の日, Shōwa no hi), on 29th April and end with Children’s Day(こどもの日, Kodomo no hi) on 5th May. 2 more public holidays namely Constitution Memorial Day (憲法記念日, Kenpō kinenbi) on 3rd May and Greenery Day, or Nature Day (みどりの日, Midori no hi)on 5th May occurs in between them.

This year golden week is not so favorable as 2 of the days happen to be on the weekends.

But anyway as its a long holidays, many of the local folks will go on long holidays and because of that, there are extra OT work for my department. Luckily for me, my works manage to finish yesterday, so I still have 2 days of holiday to enjoy! 😀
